Week of 11/5/12-11/9/12 (2nd Quarter -Week 3)

6th Graders,

Yet another beautiful weekend.  I hope that you are out and enjoying it.

WEATHER

This is going to be an interesting weather week.  The beginning of the week is going to be warm and the end of the week looks rainy and cold.  Make sure that you dress appropriately.  Please check the weekly weather HERE.  Please dress accordingly.

WOW PARAGRAPHS

My student teacher and myself have been working pretty hard to get these graded.  I will have them graded by early this week and handed back.  I plan to keep several of them to scan them on the Wall of Fame page.  I'll let you know if your paper was selected.  

WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?

This week's Line Dances will be Who Let the Dogs Out; Wild Wild West and Allenalu.  Please practice all 3, in particular, the Allenalu because it is a very tough dance.  And, don't forget to continue to practice the ones that you have learned.  Click HERE to go to the Line Dance page.

WHAT IS OUR RUN THIS WEEK?

You will have the Pedometer Run on the 2nd half of the Block days.  You will dance the first half and then do the Pedometer Run. 

WHAT FITNESS ACTIVITY ARE WE DOING THIS WEEK?

1st and 2nd Period will do the BFC outside on my Roll Call on Monday and 3rd-7th Period on Monday will do what I call the ABC Workout in the Gym.  

IS HOMEWORK ASSIGNED THIS WEEK?

No, nothing is assigned this week.

I have an extra credit page that has various types of assignments that you can choose from.  These assignments change all the time.  To check out the Extra Credit Page, click HERE.  Reminder, I WILL NOT accept any extra credit if you have not completed all mandatory assignments in class (runs, written work, fitness days, unit stuff, etc.)
