I hope that you are enjoying your 3 day weekend. Seems to be flying by pretty quickly. Also, I can't believe that we are already into our 4th week of the 2nd quarter.

WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?
This is our final week of Line Dance. You will be testing on the block days (Wed and Thursday), please practice, practice, practice. You know where the instructional videos are, use them. Work hard and do well. Click HERE to go to the Line Dance page.

WHAT IS OUR RUN THIS WEEK?
You will be doing a Turkey Trot run on Friday that we will be doing with all PE classes. Not sure how long the run will be.
WHAT FITNESS ACTIVITY ARE WE DOING THIS WEEK?
You fitness day this week is probably going to be related to a PE 101 heart rate lesson and I will do on the block day after you test for Line Dance.
IS HOMEWORK ASSIGNED THIS WEEK?
No, nothing is assigned this week.

EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENTS
This quarter is a perfect time to do the Line Dance Extra Credit assignment. You can choose one of the 6 testing Line Dances (Electric Slide, Men In Black, Boot Scootin' Boogie, Wild Wild West, Who Let The Dogs Out or Allenalu) and teach it to a family member that has NEVER been through the CMS dance unit before. After you teach them, you need to make a video of you and the family member dancing together for 1 minute. You can bring the video on a flash drive, CD or DVD. This assignment will give you a lot of extra credit.
