6th Graders,
I hope that you had a great week off. It seems to have flown by. I was able to escape to Sonoma County for a few days and then came back mid week to run my Bootcamp Classes. Anyway, I am ready to start a new unit and I feel recharged for Monday. Enjoy what is left of this beautiful Sunday. Please read through the blog, there is a lot of new information.

JUMP ROPE ROUTINES
I have peeked at the performance videos and am in the process of selecting ones that I will call "All Star" performances. I am hoping to have these edited and finished this week and then I will open up voting like I did for Tinikling. There were some fun routines for sure.
PE 101 PACKET
Last week, I graded all of your PE 101 packets, mostly to make sure that they were all completed. Most of you were missing some information and therefore received a check minus. I will be handing these packets back Monday and you will have a couple of days to complete any/all of the information that you overlooked and still receive full credit. Your packet will need to be handed in on or before your Block day. If you have any questions about this, please see me on Monday.
WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?
Tomorrow, we start Track and Field, specifically, Long Jump. If you want to know which events you will be doing on what days, you need to go to your Google Calendar. I really want you to poke around the Track and Field page to see what the unit is all about. It is a fantastic unit and had a wide array of different events. These are the same events that we have for our After School Sports Track and Field program as well.
This week we have Long Jump, Triple Jump and start Hurdles. These are 3 pretty cool events. Please do a little research on these before class tomorrow. Click on the links below:
