WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?

WEEK RECAP.....
You had officially completed your first 5 weeks of school, congratulations. This previous week was filled with nothing but Cooperative Activities with a little PE 101 sprinkled in. On Monday, we did our ball toss name game and team hula hoop challenge. On Tuesday, we had our first PE 101 lesson of the year, Sportsmanship Education. NOTE: IF YOU MISSED TUESDAY'S LESSON, YOU NEED TO COME AND SEE ME AT BRUNCH THIS WEEK. On Wednesday, you had a team run called the Variety Run. On Thursday, we did a Tag Game called VIP Tag. Friday, we did the SickFit 20 Station Rockwall Circuit.

On Friday, September 30th, I will have the mile and 2 mile make-up runs after school at 3:00 pm sharp. I will stay until 3:40. You need to complete your run by 3:40 or it will be an incomplete.
We are in a Cooperative Games/Team Building Unit right now with some Bear Challenge and PE 101 sprinkled in. To look at the units for the year, click HERE. WHAT UNIT IS COMING UP NEXT?
Our next unit is scheduled to take place in the Gym on 10/3. We will either do a Yoga Unit or a Jump Rope Unit. I am not sure which I will have you do yet.
WHAT IS OUR RUN THIS WEEK?
We will be doing the Interval Partner Pacer Run on Wednesday this week. It is a timed team run. To read about the Interval Partner Pacer, click HERE.
WHAT FITNESS ACTIVITY ARE WE DOING THIS WEEK?
Because we do not have school this Friday, we will not have an official Friday Fitness. However, there is a good chance that I will have an outside fitness day on Thursday.
IS HOMEWORK ASSIGNED THIS WEEK?
Yes, go HERE and Print HW #5. This is a 2 page worksheet on the 5 Fitness Components. DO NOT COMPLETE THIS WORKSHEET, ONLY PRINT AND BRING TO CLASS. We will be discussing this on Tuesday.
ARE THERE ANY ASSIGNMENTS DUE THIS WEEK
Yes, you need to complete Page 3 of HW #4 (Sportsmanship Education) which is the page that we DID NOT do in class last Tuesday. Alot of you have turned this page in already and do not need to worry about handing it in. If you had trouble accessing the video for the assignment, click HERE to watch the Youtube Video.
Also, HW #5 is due on Tuesday. HW #5 is a blank worksheet that you need to print out and bring to class on Tuesday.
