Week of 4/4/11-4/8/11 (4Q- Week 2)

6th Graders,

WEEK RECAP.....
We had a good week. Monday was the Diabolo Presentation. Tuesday and Thursday we focused on Juggling, specifically, Group Juggling. I am going to post your group Juggling videos on line so that you can see them. They will be available on the Juggling Page sometime today. Please check them out.

WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?
We are in our second week of the Juggling Unit. Please keep practicing at home. There were several fantastic ideas shared about what objects to use at home to practice; socks, lemons, limes, dog toys, tennis balls, hackie sacks, etc. Practice, practice, practice. You can always refer to the instructional videos on the Juggling Page to help you out.

WHAT UNIT IS COMING UP NEXT?
After Juggling we will start the Tumbling Unit. All 6th graders will be doing this unit at the same time. Check out my Tumbling page to start reading about it. I have finished making and editing a few instructional videos for Tumbling. If you are interested, check them out on the Tumbling Page.

WHAT IS OUR RUN THIS WEEK?
I am going to have you Partner Pacer- 140 laps (70 each).
